Highly Efficient Yb:YAG Channel Waveguide Laser with 1.7 W Output Power Fabricated by fs-Laser Writing

Abstract

Stress induced channel waveguides were written in crystalline Yb (7%):YAG with fs-laser pulses. Pumped by an OPS-laser at 969 nm laser oscillation with up to 1.76 W output power was demonstrated.
