Octave-Spanning Ti:sapphire Laser Locked to Carrier-Envelope-Offset Frequency Zero

Abstract

We present a Ti:sapphire based pulse train stabilized to carrier-envelope-offset frequency zero using an extended self-referencing technique. The excellent CEP lock is verified by recording the spectral interference of 1011 pulses in a second f-to-2f-interferometer.
