Enhanced Resolution in Nonlinear Microscopy Using the LP02 mode of an optical fiber

Abstract

It is demonstrated that the lateral resolution of a non-linear scanning multi-photon microscope can be improved significantly by using the light from an LP02 mode instead of a Gaussian-like beam.
