Abstract
A novel ultra-compact THz-bandwidth plasmon-to-electron converter is reported for hybrid plasmon-electron integrated circuits. 20% of the optical power from plasmonic waveguide can be converted to photocurrent via a nanoscale active volume of 50×50×130nm3
