Abstract

The paper describes the fabrication of high-efficiency distributed feedback laser diodes operating at 894 nm. Regrowth-free fabrication of high aspect-ratio surface-gratings patterned using nanoimprint lithography enabled a 40 dB side-mode-suppression-ratio over a wide temperature range.
