Stable photonic crystal fiber sensor for ultra-high temperature measurements

Abstract

We have developed a stable photonic crystal fiber sensor for ultra-high temperature measurements (up to 1000°C). We show that the sensor head needs a long thermal annealing to achieve a stable functionality level.
