Glass analysis using laser induced shock-wave plasma

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

New method for glass analysis were developed by using laser induced shock wave plasma. Detection of light elements such as Li, Be and B which are difficult to detect by x-ray fluorescence was done. The detection limit of Li is less than 1 ppm.
