Selective MOVPE growth process for photonic integrated circuits

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Selective MOVPE is an extremely powerful technique for photonic integration, since an optical waveguide, including multiple regions with different bandgap energy along the stripe, can be formed in a single growth process. With this technique, various photonic devices have been successfully demonstrated.
