Abstract

Optical interconnects area are promising to fulfill the needs for future connection intensive digital systems.1 Concepts such as co-integrating silicon CMOS technology with optoelectronic devices have led led to several approaches for the design of the optical backplanes with terabit/second or higher throughput.
