How to Realize the Direct Third-Harmonic Generation at Any Given Wavelength

Abstract

Structures capable of generating third-harmonic at any given wavelength are proposed. A blue third-harmonic was achieved with an efficiency higher than 27%; while the efficiency of the red second-harmonic is up to 73%.
