Stimulated forward Raman amplifier with mixed gas medium

Abstract

We present a new method for saturated Raman amplification of short Stokes pulse. By using mixed gas medium of CH4/H2, high power Stokes of 3ns was obtained in the power conversion efficiency of 65%.
