Multi-frequency pulsations in mode-locked fiber lasers

Abstract

We show that pulsations in mode-locked fiber lasers can have a multi-frequency behaviour. Pulsations can take the form of period doubling, period tripling and contain even two or several non-commensurate frequencies.
