Abstract

Transmission performance of spectrum-sliced WDM access influenced by adjacent crosstalk is estimated and the optimum spectral width is derived. BER is measured using 25-GHz spaced, 15-GHz wide, 155-Mbps × 32-channel transmissions through a 50-km DSF.
