Light Propagation Characteristics in Photonic Crystal Waveguides

Abstract

Clear correspondence between theoretical and experimental light propagation characteristics in photonic crystal waveguides was observed at 1.5-µm-wavelength range. Light transmission through a 60° bend was also demonstrated.
