Femtosecond laser machining

Abstract

Femtosecond (fs) lasers provide unique features for smart material processing. According to these properties new applications can be accessed by adapting specific optics and the tailored processing strategy. Recent results demonstrate the huge potential for micro-structuring using fs-laser pulses.
