Optical path length measurements on human forehead using time-resolved system

Abstract

Mean time of flight of the adult heads is measured with a time-resolved system to validate modelling of light propagation in the adult head. Mean time of the adult head model predicted by Monte Carlo simulation agrees well with the experimental results.
