Abstract

Low crosstalk LD and PD arrays for high-speed parallel optical communications have been developed. No degradation of BER characteristics caused by crosstalk among channels in an array was observed under asynchronous 3.125 Gbps × 4-channel operation compared to that under single channel operation.
