Abstract

Mesoscopic materials, particles that are nm or (im in size but have solid like density, behave very differently under intense laser irradiation (1016Wcm−2). Experiments to control the plasma evolution by modifying the cluster material through doping and by using prepulse on a 15µm methanol droplet are presented.
