Abstract

We report an experimental realization of the neural network based multi-parameter fiber optic sensor system using the two-core fiber, which can simultaneously determine the stress, position of the stress and cracks. A specially designed highly bend-sensitive two-core optical fiber has been used to form the dense mesh.
