Abstract

A quasi-continuous wavelength sweep range of 70 nm is achieved by utilizing thermal compensation in SSG-DBR lasers. The frequency spacing is set at 6.25 GHz, and the output power is 10 mW for the whole tuning range. Thermal drift compensation enhances wavelength accuracy, and realizes fast and stable tuning.
