Abstract

Double-stage multi-kHz optical parametric chirped pulse amplification is demonstrated near 935 nm and 1235 nm. Using a Cr:forsterite seed laser and two periodically poled stoichiometric LiTaO3 crystals as gain media, total (signal+idler) amplified energies of 55.7 µJ and 35.6 µJ were obtained at 1 kHz and 5 kHz, respectively.
