Abstract

In this paper the properties of photoluminescence of zinc-alumino-silicate glasses were studied by excitation and emission spectra. A blue band of emission was observed in the zinc-alumino-silicate glasses when the glass was excited by UV light. Also it was observed that the emission intensity could be tuned by varying the heat treatment time and the temperature of the glass matrices.
