PDT-treated Apoptotic Cells Enhance the Phagocytosis of Macrophage

Abstract

While antitumor immunological responses have been mainly associated with necrosis, immune responses associated with apoptosis have been suggested recently. In this study the relationship between cell death and its interaction with macrophage were studied using Photofrin-PDT induced necrosis and apoptosis.
