Object-image grating self-tiling technology and related compressor design for Petawatt Laser Systems

Abstract

To reach kilojoule, petawatt laser pulses, an object-image grating self-tiling technology for enlarging the effective aperture of a grating is proposed. Using this technology, a related X-shape grating compressor design is given.
