Detection of Coolant Leakage in Nuclear Reactor Using Off-Axis Integrated Cavity Output Spectroscopy

Abstract

The sensor-type instrument for heavy water vapor detection was developed by using the off-axis integrated cavity output spectroscopic technique. The minimum detectable change of HDO concentration with this device was evaluated as 1.6 ppm.
