Abstract

We have developed and characterized ablative and non-ablative femtosecond laser processes for precision machining of transparent materials. Ablation process is compared with a newly developed non-ablative patent pending femtosecond process, ClearShape™, using the Spectra-Physics® Spirit® industrial femtosecond laser.
