Abstract

An ultra-compact Si-wire reconfigurable finite impulse response (FIR) filter with 16 taps is reported. Targeting Nyquist spectrum, we successfully demonstrate bandwidth-tunable optical filtering for pass bandwidth of 30, 40, and 50 GHz.
