Mid-infrared fluoride Raman fiber laser pumped by Erbium doped fluoride fiber laser

Abstract

For mid-infrared applications, we theoretically investigate the power-scaling ability of fluoride Raman fiber laser pumped by 30-W Erbium doped fluoride fiber laser at 2940 nm for the first time. The output power at 3540 nm is maximized to 1.91 W with optimum fiber length of 34 m and cavity feedback of 90%. More details will be presented in the conference.
