Generation of Few-Cycle Laser Pulses by Coherent Synthesis Basing on Femtosecond Yb Fiber Laser

Abstract

We demonstrate a coherent synthesis system basing on femtosecond Yb fiber laser to generate 8-fs laser pulses. Furthermore, the impact of ratio of pulse energy of two branches on coherent synthesis pulse is characterized for short pulse duration and high quality.
