Electro-optically induced Nonlinear Phase shift in RTP crystal by cascaded second-order nonlinearity

Abstract

An electro-optically tunable nonlinear phase shift is introduced in RTP by applying an electric field on x-y plane of the crystal. The nonlinear phase shift results from cascaded second-order nonlinearity in phase mismatched condition.
