Abstract

We have achieved a tubular microcavity embedded InAs quantum dots by rolling the U-shaped InGaAs/GaAs strained bilayer based on GaAs substrate. Subsequently, micro-photoluminescence spectra were investigated at room temperature. Four sharp and equidistant peaks can be obviously observed, which are recognized as whispering gallery modes. Besides, the maximum value of quality factor is ~1200 at 6.59 μW excitation power.
