Abstract

An all-PM ANDi fiber laser, with low-repetition-rate (1.66MHz), sub-nanosecond (<600ps), linearly-polarized (DOP of 22dB) output pulse is reported. A PM-fiber pigtailed SAM and a PM band pass filter are used to initiate the pulse output. Based on that oscillator, an MOPA is demonstrated to obtain high-energy (2 micro-Joule) pulses.
