Large Signal Modultion Analysis of High-speed Transverse Coupled Cavity VCSELs

Abstract

We present the modeling of high speed large signal modulation of transverse-coupled cavity (TCC) VCSELs. Clear eye opening can be seen up to 60 Gbps and the frequency chirp is reduced by a factor of two thanks to photon-photon resonance.
