Unprocessed whole blood sensing using micropostembedded microfluidics with guided-mode resonance

Abstract

We demonstrate a Lab-on-a-chip (LOC) system for whole blood sensing. The LOC consists of a microfluidic chip including an array of microposts for cell filtration and a labelfree guided-mode resonance biosensor for real-time quantification.
