Abstract

Nearly transform-limited, carrier-envelope phase stable, 3.4 fs pulses with central wavelength of 1.8 μm are generated via parametric waveform synthesis. The mJ-level energy, at 1 kHz repetition rate, allows for waveform-controlled bright high-harmonic generation.
