Ultra-narrow Nanoslit Cavities for High-Q Resonances in the Visible Range

Abstract

We fabricated asymmetric nanoslit cavities by milling with helium ion microscope on the edge of single-crystal gold stripes with one end open to the air. The cavities exhibit high-Q multiple resonances in the visible range.
