Photonics based Microwave Frequency Shifter for Doppler Shift Compensation in High-Speed Railways

Abstract

A photonic signal processor for removing the Doppler effect in high-speed railway mobile communication is simulated with results agree with theory. It is based on a time stretch/compress system to shift a microwave signal frequency.
