Abstract

Recent advances in ultrafast solid-state and fiber lasers make possible robust and practical tabletop-scale light sources in the vacuum-ultraviolet, extreme-ultraviolet, and soft x-ray spectral regions. These sources are being applied for a wide variety of applications.
