All-Optical Ammonia Gas Sensor Using Silicon Microring Resonator Covered with Graphene

Abstract

All-optical gas sensor consisting of graphene covered silicon microring resonator is proposed. Ammonia gas increases the Fermi level of graphene. The gas concentration can be detected by the resonant-wavelength shift by microring resonator.
