Abstract

We perform a novel pump-probe scheme based on dual-comb asynchronous optical sampling (ASOPS) with 10.86-ns observation range, 2-ps temporal resolution and 1-kHz frame rate, and investigate the semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) gain recovery process.
