Resonant Third Harmonic Generation Microscopy of Amorphous-silicon Sub-wavelength Nanostructures

Abstract

We demonstrate multispectral third harmonic generation microscopy of amorphous silicon two-dimensional nanostructure arrays. Sub-wavelength structures designed with resonance at the fundamental wavelength result in enhancement of third-harmonic by a factor of ~ 370.
