Bragg solitons in CMOS-compatible platform

Abstract

We demonstrate Bragg soliton dynamics on CMOS-compatible platform for the first time. We provide complete time-resolved measurements of record high-order soliton compression and show third-order dispersion induced fission in an ultra-silicon-rich nitride cladding-modulated Bragg grating.
