Abstract
A high-Q Fano metasurface by breaking structural symmetry is proposed and over three orders emission enhancement of embedded Ge quantum dots is experimentally demonstrated in the metasurface. The lineshape of photoluminescence is typically Fano-like, the origin of Fano resonance and strong emission enhancement are analyzed in detail.
