Static and dynamic strain sensing over 3.5 kHz with fiber-based optical frequency comb cavity

Abstract

We proposed a novel static and dynamic strain sensor employing an optical-frequency-comb. We realized strain sensing from 8.7 nε to 500 µε over the strain frequencies of 3.5 kHz.
