A Tunable Single-longitudinal-mode Fiber Laser based on erbium-doped, peanut-shape fiber structure interferometer

Abstract

We propose a fiber laser using erbium-doped fiber peanut-shape structure interferometer as the mode-selector for achieving single-longitudinal-mode and wavelength-tunable operation. The fiber laser has a 3 dB bandwidth of about 0.015 nm.
