High Speed Optical Frequency Sweeper using Super Continuum Pulses and Optical Filters

Abstract

A novel high speed optical sweeper is proposed and fabricated using super continuum optical pulses and time of flight technique. Combination of optical filters and optical delay lines successfully generate the frequency sweep light from a single pseudo-white light pulse.
