Abstract

The inscription of chirped and tilted fiber Bragg gratings (CTFBGs) is demonstrated in hydrogen-loaded large-mode-area double-cladding (LMA-DC) fiber by a linearly chirped phase mask. High reflectivity wideband adjustable band-rejection filters are obtained in fiber of PS- GDF-20/400-M, with a 3 dB-bandwidth of >10 nm and maximum suppression ratio >30 dB.
