Measuring the topological charge of light beams generated by four-wave mixing in Rb vapours

Abstract

Collimated light generated via four wave mixing in atomic rubidium vapours excited by light carrying orbital angular momentum is analyzed, particularly the case of doughnut-shaped intensity profiles with zero topological charge.
