A Multichannel WDM-PON System with Port Agnostic Tunable SFP+ Transceiver Modules

Abstract

We demonstrate a WDM-PON system with port agnostic tunable SFP+ transceiver modules. With low-frequency envelope-modulated message channel, error-free data transmission is achieved at 8.5 Gbps with a sensitivity better than -19 dBm.
