Terahertz Wave Amplification in Stacked Graphene Layers

Abstract

We propose a novel technique for terahertz amplification in optically pumped stacked graphene layers. The terahertz amplification is achieved through a down conversion process, which is enabled by generating a backward terahertz wave.
